Little Senni, our valentine's day baby, is now ONE year old! Congratulations Sepalito!

Lurkki had his 5th birthday some time ago... He is doing fine, he likes to sleep in the couch and practise obedience...
I wonder what he's practising here...
24.01.09 Turku INT show
We went in Turku international show with Luke and Senni. Australian terriers were judged by Eugen Megelea from Romania. Senni got excellent and she was 3rd in junior class. Senni was also part of Bristregal breedergroup, which was BOB-breeder. Congratulations to breeder Nina from her first breedergroup in this breed!
Beardies were judged by Joyce Crawford-Manton from Ireland. Luke got very good and he won junior class. Thanks to Nina for handling him :)

18.01.09 Lahti groupshow -->Luke was BOB
We travelled to Lahti with Luke, Senni and Gold. Luke was the only one to participate in the show, Senni and Gold came along as tourists. We took Gold with us, so he gets used to the show world. Few people checked him around and checked his teeth also.
14 (3 puppies) Beardies were judged by Marianne Holm (Finland). First Luke won the juniorclass with excellent, and in the best male competition the judge made Luke best male! This means Luke had his first CC! Luke's brother Oliver was second best male with res-CC. And also Luke's sister Martta got CC. At the end Luke was BOB, as Obi's mom Donna (Bristregal Easy Regal) was BOS. We also participated in to the breeders class, where kennel Bristregal was BOB-breeder and at the end of the day also BIS 2-breeder. Huge congratulations to all!

16.01.09 Christmas is over...
So Christmas is now over and so is new year's eve. Frank turned 3 years on 2nd day of January. There has been a little flips on his bloodcounts, so now he's been given some cortisone to make the bloodcount stabilise. He also had problems with his back, but with a help of a physiotherapist and some stretching he is doing fine. Maybe there is a connection between the back pain and crisis..?!
Otherwise we're doing fine. Gold is growing and becaming more handsome. There is lots of new pictures of him, in the picture-page in Gold's own gallery. And there is also new pictures from everybody else running in the fields on Christmas.

13.12.08 Helsinki INT Winner 2008 >> Senni is junior winner!
Judge for beardies was Leila Kärkäs from Finland. Luke was entered in to his very first official show, he competed in juniorclass. Luke got excellent and was placed second. Lurkki competed in champion class, he also got excellent, but unfortunatelly he didn't get placed. Luke was also part of breeders group, and kennel Bristregal was BOB-breeder! Congratulations!!!

Senni was entered also. And this was her's first official show too! Australian terriers were judged by Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari (Finland). She liked Senni very much. She gave her excellent and placed her first in the junior class. This means that Senni is now junior winner 2008!! Senni was also placed in the best bitch class, she was best bitch 4 and she got a res-cc!!!

7.12.08 Lahti, match show
We went in to a match show (not an official show) with Senni, Luke and Gold. They all were in puppy class. Luke got red, but didn't get a placement. Senni also got red, but didn't get placed. Gold got blue and he was placed second in group of blue puppies. Excellent Gold! This was his first appearance in the big world and he behaved very nicely :D
02.12.08 Obi 5 years
Obi was born five years ago... Thanks to breeder from this amazing creature, who always suprise us. Obi doesn't do anything the way you'd expect him to do. We've had a lot laughter because of this big boy, but also we've got a lot of gray hair too ;)

9.11.08 Porvoo obedience day for bearded collies
Hanna and Luke got some tips for their obedience training from Jessica Svanljung. It was nice to meet all the friends and a big thanks to Tupu and Lea for organizing this day. And thanks to Nana Naulapää for taking few pics from us.
8.11.08 Estonia, Tarto INT
Lurkki and Tuulia travelled all the way to Estonia, Tarto to enter into an international dog show, for beardies the judge was Charlotte Höier from Denmark, Lurkki's result was best male 3 with excellent.
01.11.08 Lahti puppyshow
Australian terrier puppies were judged by Päivi Eerola. Senni got HP and was BOB-puppy! Yeeeeeee Senni! Senni was also BOG 2! Picture below by Kenneth Holmberg.

Beardiepuppies were also judged by Päivi Eerola. And Luke ALSO got HP and he was BOB-puppy. The judge in the group ring was Satu Tanner, she also like Luke, and Luke was BOG 2 too! In the picture below Luke and his sister Martta, who was BOS, pic by Kenneth Holmberg.

26.10.08 Lahti puppyshow
Senni was placed second, judge was Saija Juutilainen, Finland. Luke was also placed second with HP, judge Harto Stockmari, Finland. In the picture Senni in the ring.
19.10.08 Hämeenlinna group show
Senni competed in puppyclass, the judge was Tinna Grubbe from Denmark. Senni was placed second.
Both Luke and Lurkki were entered in this show too. Beardiejudge was Kristina Purens from Sweden. Luke was placed second (after his brother Oliver, Bristregal Pitt Like Brad) with HP in puppyclass. Lurkki was third in champion class and he was also 4th best male.
21.09.08 obedience competition and Gold came in to Finland on saturday and puppyshows on sunday...
What a thriller weekend... let's start from saturday 20.9.
Tuulia and Lurkki participated in an obedience competition here in our home town Valkeakoski on saturday. The result wasn't the best possible, but some moves went well, the final result was 102,5 points and that gave them third prize in novice class. Tuulia was propably nervous about something, so she wasn't very focused on the competition...
And here is the reason why Tuulia was nervous...On the same day, afternoon, we drove to Helsinki-Vantaa airport to get the newest member of our family. Little romanian shepherd dog called Gold flew to Finland all the way from Romania! This little fellow is something what Tuulia has dreamt about for years now, and finally it's here! Gold is from kennel Tender Ebony, breeder Iulia Ionesi. You can find more information about Gold from his own pages!
Gold has settled in very well! Quite fast he learnt that this is his new herd! Mioritics are bit different than beardies, but I think we get use to that very quickly ;)
And on sunday 21.9...
Luke and Senni were on a puppy show.. again. The show was in Orivesi. Senni was judged by Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari, she gave a lovely critique to Senni and the result was BOS-puppy with HP.
Beardies were judged by Marja Talvitie. There was a huge number of beardie puppys on the show: 9 ! Luke was best male puppy with HP and in the end he also was BOS-puppy! YEEEEE KIDS!
14.09.08 Puppyshow in Riihimäki & Obedience competition in Valkeakoski
Senni was BOS-puppy with HP, judge was Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki (Finland). Luke won minor puppy class (5-7 months), he got HP and in the end he was best male puppy 2. Beardies were judged by Esko Nummijärvi (Finland).
At the same time in Valkeakoski Tuulia and Lurkki were competiting in obedience. Result was 3. prize with 130 points.
31.08.08 Tampere match show
We went in to a match show with Luke and Senni. They both were in puppyclass, both did a great job in the ring and both got "1. prize" but weren't placed.
30.08.08 Helsinki specialty for terriers
Senni was in specialty show for terriers. She was in the minor puppy class, judge was Juha Kares (Finland). He liked Senni very much and placed her second.
24.08.08 Valkeakoski all breed show
It was nice to enter this show, because it was in our hometown, so we didn't have to make a long trip to get there :) Beardies were judged by Gabriela Ridarcikova (Slovakia). Lurkki got excellent and was placed second in champion class, he was also second best male.
24.08.08 Adolf In Memoriam
Our parents cat Adolf passed away. He was a great personality, always getting in to trouble and making trips in our town, you could have seen him in the local football games, in the library, getting a taxi to get home... Adolf was 13 years old.
23.08.08 Hämeenlinna international show
Beardies were judged by Janusz Opara (Poland). Lurkki got excellent, he won the champion class and was best male second.
12.08.08 Puppymeeting
Luke's brothers and sisters got together in their breeders house. We had a great time and Senni was there too. It was lovely to see everybody.

10.08. Puppyshow in Lahti
Senni and Luke entered their first puppyshow! Judge for australian terriers was Kristiina Niemelä (FIN), she placed Senni second in minor puppy class. Senni behaved very nicely in the ring and she got praised about her lovely temperament.
Beardiepuppys were judged by Jari Pellas (FIN). There were 4 beardie puppys: Lukes brother Oliver (Bristregal Pitt Like Brad) and their sisters Martta (Bristregal Piece Of Regal) and Huisku (Bristregal Powder Puff). They all got HP's, Martta was BOS-puppy and Luke was BOB-puppy. That's a nice way to start your showcareer.
We also presented a puppybreeders class, Bristregals was BOB-breeder with HP. But the day wasn't finished yet, we had to enter in to the groupfinals. Bristregal breeder class was BIS 2 and Luke was BOG 3 puppy!
In the evening we got more good news. Lukes dad Boogie (Tailwind Papaw Place Your Bet) was BIS 3 in an all breed show and Obis sister Olga (Bristregal Kissing Regal) was also BIS 3 in another all breed show! Huge congratulations to the breeder and to owners! What a weekend...
